California (TDI): Google has released the Gemini live assistant, initially available to all customers for free via the Gemini app and debuted alongside the Pixel 9 series.
Before going accessible to everyone, the assistant was only available to Gemini Advanced subscribers.

With less robotic voice output and support for more realistic speech patterns, such as pauses and filler words, Gemini Live offers an improved voice command experience.
It retains context, which makes for a more seamless and natural interaction than the standard Gemini and Google Assistant.
Still, the improved chatbot can only speak English for the time being.

Google acknowledged the wider distribution of Gemini Live via Twitter, signaling a step forward in making its powerful AI tools more accessible.
