Global Leaders React to Trump’s Comeback

-

Washington (TDI): Leaders around the world are beginning to react as Donald Trump appears on the verge of a stunning political comeback, potentially marking his return to the White House.

Trump’s projected victory could carry significant ramifications worldwide, with mixed reactions from global capitals as the election results unfold.

Trump’s camp was buoyed overnight as the swing states of Georgia and North Carolina fell in his favor, sparking jubilation among his supporters in Florida, where key Republican allies had gathered.

However, it was the pivotal win in Pennsylvania — carrying 19 electoral votes — that has all but closed the route to victory for Democrat Kamala Harris, positioning Trump tantalizingly close to the required 270 electoral votes.

As Trump addressed a crowd of supporters, vocal endorsements poured in from prominent allies across the globe.

Among the first to respond, British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer congratulated Trump, stating, “Congratulations, President-elect Trump, on your historic election victory. We look forward to working together in the coming years.”

French President Emmanuel Macron extended congratulations via social media, writing, “Congratulations, President Donald Trump,” signaling a cordial yet reserved acknowledgment from Paris.

Warm Support from Israel

Meanwhile, Israel’s far-right ministers responded with particular enthusiasm.

National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir declared, “Yesssss, God bless Trump,” while Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich added, “God bless Israel, God bless America.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu personally extended warm wishes, calling Trump’s victory “history’s greatest comeback” and underscoring the robust US-Israel alliance.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, known for his support of Trump, hailed the victory as “the biggest comeback in US political history,” describing it as a “much-needed victory for the world.”

In Latin America, El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele extended his early congratulations, writing, “May God bless and guide you,” while Australia’s former Prime Minister Scott Morrison shared a photo with Trump, adding, “Congratulations President Trump.”
