Dubai, (TDI): The Pakistan Software Export Board, on behalf of Tech Destination Pakistan, has been named the 2024 event’s “Tech Destination of the Year” after it participated in the Pakistan Pavilion in prior GITEX Global editions.
The GITEX Global is held every year in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is one of the biggest and most influential technology exhibitions globally. The event is in its 44th year this year.
With more than 40 halls showcasing innovations in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, mobility, and sustainable technology, the event is held in the Dubai World Trade Center and Dubai Harbor.

The event brings together global IT giants, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts to showcase innovations, discuss future trends, and foster collaboration.
Pakistan presents an excellent value proposition, providing services at up to 70% lower operating costs than North America, with IT/ITeS companies exporting to 170 countries.

Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja said that this partnership highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to innovation, technology, and global collaboration.
