Gilani Departs for 5-Day Visit to Saudi Arabia

Islamabad (TDI): Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, along with a parliamentary delegation, departed for a five-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.

The visit is being undertaken at the invitation of the Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council, reflecting the growing emphasis on deepening bilateral ties between the two nations.

According to an official statement, the visit aims to strengthen institutional cooperation and explore opportunities for collaboration in various sectors.

The delegation, led by Gilani, will hold a series of high-level meetings with key Saudi officials, including the Chairman of the Shura Council, the Governor of Medina, and the Governor of Riyadh.

Discussions are expected to focus on enhancing parliamentary exchanges, economic cooperation, and regional issues of mutual interest.
