Accra, 9 November 2022 (TDI): The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday, 8 November launched the Ghana Energy Transition Framework with the United States (US).
The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo in his tweet expressed his hopefulness about this development and the positive outcomes which will come afterward. He also shared that Ghana is also the co-Chair of the forest Climate Leaders’ Partnership.
He indicated that this initiative with the US will tackle climate change at both the global and domestic stages of the country. He again added that it will help to solve social issues as it will provide jobs to people.
This partnership seeks to ensure that both countries make great moves when it comes to the energy transition. The US has been a leading member of the energy transition for a long time which makes this partnership fruitful.
The energy transition framework will guarantee the best ways of accessing clean and green energy. Both countries will seek to ensure that they explore various alternatives to accessing clean energy.

This will create jobs for the youths, President Nana Akufo-Addo said. The battle against climate change has been a major challenge for countries and Ghana and the US are no exception.
Both countries have all tried to fight this global problem and clean energy which will avoid the removal of fossil fuels.
Ghana-US energy cooperation has been cordial one since both countries began their bilateral relations. The government of Ghana has been initiating good deals of energy partnerships with the government of the US.
Both countries have enjoyed some form of good relations when it comes to energy partnerships. The energy transition partnership between both countries will help them to better fight climate change issues.
The President of Ghana acknowledges the fact that this global issue will be done away with in the area of clean and green energy from this development.
