ISLAMABAD, September 10,2024 (TDI): Aimed to control illegal migration, the government of Germany announced plans for further tightening security at all country’s border.
Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said that the main objective of measures to control irregular migration and to secure masses from threats such Islamic extremism. T
The implementation of measures will be started on September 16 at vast area of free movement – the European Schengen zone and it will be continued for six months, he said.

He said that the government has also devised a plan to permit concerned departments to reject more migrants directly at German borders.
The news restrictions are part of the steps the government of Germany has taken to further harden its stance on irregular migration in the recent past after increase in arrivals due to people escaping war and increase poverty in Middle East.

“We are making more effective internal security and continuing our hard line against irregular migration,” Faeser said, noting the government had informed the European Commission and neighboring countries regarding the measures.
The recent knife attacks in which the accused were asylum seekers have increased fear and concerns over increase in immigration. T
he responsibility of knife attack in western city of Solingen was claimed by Islamic State group in which one person lost his life.
