ASHGABAT, (TDI): Leaders from Russia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and other countries will gather for the international forum “Interconnection of Times and Civilizations: The Foundation of Peace and Development,” commemorating the 300th anniversary of poet Magtymguly Pyragy. The event is set to take place on October 11 in Ashgabat.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, President Asif Ali Zardari will leave today for Turkmenistan to attend the celebration of this significant Turkmen thinker and philosopher in Ashgabat.
Kazakhstan President Kassym Jomart Tokayev already arrived
Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev have already arrived in Turkmenistan on Thursday for an official visit, as reported by Turkmenistan’s state media.
Furthermore, Mongolia’s President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh is scheduled to visit Turkmenistan from October 10 to 13. During his stay, he will engage in talks with President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and meet National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and international cooperation.

The forum will also host leaders from various international organizations, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Economic Cooperation Organization, the Turkic Council (TURKSOY), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and UNESCO.

Events will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, as well as at the Ýyldyz and Garagum hotels. Over 800 journalists from around the world are expected to cover the forum, highlighting its international significance.
