G20 Forum
The G20 is a strategic forum that brings together the world’s most important developed and developing economies. Moreover, the G20 has a crucial strategic role in ensuring future prosperity and economic progress around the world.
Together, the G20 countries account for more than 80% of global GDP. Furthermore, G20 also includes 75% of global trade and 60% of the global population.
The forum was established to include middle-income nations with systemic economic influence, including Indonesia. The forum focuses on finding a solution to the global economic conditions affected by the global financial crisis of 1997–1999.
