French President visits Ireland

Dublin, 26 August 2021 (TDI): Foreign Ministry of Ireland welcomed the French President’s official visit to the country which is an important gesture of good relations between France and Ireland. It will be the first Presidential visit of Emmanuel Macron to Ireland. To welcome and honor him, Irish officials decorated and lighted the unique and historical landmarks with Bleu Blanc Rouge Colors.

With the first visit of Emmanuel Macron to Ireland, the Irish Government has decided to open a new consulate general for the celebration of long-living connection and relations between both countries in Lyon, the capital of the Auvergne – Rhône – in the Alpes region. This region has a total population of around 8 million people and around 50 percent of the French small and medium enterprises are located in this region.
