Algiers, 11 August 2021 (TDI): Wildfires have now erupted in Algeria and almost 65 people have died. The fires have spread across many forests and villages to the east of the capital in the Kabyle region of Algeria.
The international community and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece expressed their condolences to the families of the victims, civilians, and soldiers in Algeria. In addition, the government of Greece, as well as the Government of France also extended their full solidarity with the Algerian people.
