Foreign Ministers of Iran and Nicaragua hold meeting

Tehran, 7 August 2021 (TDI): On Saturday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held a meeting in Tehran with the Foreign Minister of Nicaragua, Denis Moncoda.

Both Foreign Ministers exchanged their views on the latest developments in the Latin American region. They also discussed handling the economic pressure which is imposed by US Unilateralism.

Recalling the historical relations the two dignitaries expressed their willingness to maintain cooperation between their states.

Moncoda also appreciated the efforts put by Zarif in expanding the levels of cooperation in the past 8 years.
