New York, 23 September 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, met with Foreign Minister of Slovenia, Dr. Anze Logar. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Both the leaders discussed bilateral relations and cooperation within the framework of the European Union (EU). They also shared views on the evolving dynamics in Afghanistan. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi emphasized the need for an active role of the international community in creating peace and stability in Afghanistan.
Pakistan and Slovenia share cordial diplomatic relations. The two leaders agreed to further augment avenues of cooperation between the two countries.
On this occasion, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also invited his Slovenian counterpart to visit Pakistan.
