Foreign Minister Pakistan addressed Pakistan-American Community

New York, 22 September 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, addressed the Pakistan-American Community on the sidelines of 76th session of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Speaking on the occasion, the Foreign Minister said that overseas Pakistanis play a crucial role in economic development of the country.

The Foreign Minister stated that Prime Minister, Imran Khan, is considerate of the problems face by overseas Pakistanis. He assured that various steps are being taken to resolve these issues. The Foreign Minister further added, it is our top priority to give voting rights to Pakistani diaspora. He also informed the community regarding the developments on Kashmir issue.

Furthermore, the Foreign Minister inaugurated NADRA and Land Records desk. The consulate’s official website was also launched at the occasion.
