Berlin, 7 October 2022 (TDI): Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is on an official visit to Germany. This is the first visit of the foreign minister to Berlin. He is visiting Germany at the invitation of German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
The Foreign Minister of Pakistan reached Berlin on 6 October 2022 on a two-day visit. Senior representatives of the German Foreign Office and the Ambassador of Pakistan to Germany Dr.
Muhammad Faisal welcomed Bilawal Bhutto Zardari along with his team at the airport.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also met the President of the German Bundesrat Bodo Ramelow at a bilateral meeting. The German Bundesrat is a legislative body that represents the sixteen federated states of Germany at the federal level.
Furthermore, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on the Foreign Minister of Germany Annalena Baerbock today. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari addressed a joint press conference.
Significance of Visit
The visit will assist in the consolidation and expansion of relations between the two countries. Moreover, it will also serve as a significant chance to enhance Pakistan’s interaction with an important member of the European Union.
In addition to it, this will be an opportunity for Pakistan to communicate our point of view on climate-induced massive flooding in Pakistan, as well as regional and global issues.

The Foreign Minister would meet with other officials and engage with the media in addition to meeting with Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
