Rabat, 3 October 2023 (TDI): At the Royal Palace in Rabat, the King Mohammed VI credentials ceremony was a grand event that saw the monarch welcoming a selected group of foreign envoys.

These diplomats arrived to formally submit their credentials, confirming their roles as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors representing their nations in the Kingdom of Morocco.

The esteemed diplomats and Ambassadors from different countries were in attendance including Jesper Kammersgaard, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark, Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer Mohammed Thani Al-Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Mohamed Iliassa Yahaya, Ambassador of the Union of the Comoros, José Renato Salazar Acosta, Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia; Mohamed Douhour Hersi and many others.

The ceremony was conducted in the distinguished presence of Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.

Also in attendance was the King’s Chamberlain, Sidi Mohamed El Alaoui, who participated in the solemn ceremony.

The presentation of credentials by these foreign ambassadors signifies a significant step in enhancing the diplomatic relations between Morocco and their respective countries.
