Islamabad (TDI): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a cordial and constructive telephonic conversation with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.
FM Dar wished his counterpart great success in organizing and hosting the upcoming Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which starts today. The Forum is a prominent platform that brings together global leaders, diplomats, and thinkers to discuss pressing global policy and diplomacy issues.
During the conversation, both leaders engaged in a meaningful exchange of views on matters of mutual interest, reflecting on the close and brotherly ties both countries have enjoyed over the years.

They underscored the importance of continued cooperation in various fields including trade, investment, defense, education, and people-to-people linkages.
The Foreign Ministers also expressed satisfaction over the existing strong bilateral relationship and reaffirmed mutual commitment to strengthening it further in times to come.
Deputy Prime Minister Dar conveyed his appreciation for Türkiye’s dynamic role in regional and international diplomacy under the leadership of Foreign Minister Fidan.
He expressed confidence that the Antalya Forum would contribute meaningfully to global dialogue and peace-building efforts.

FM Fidan reciprocated the warm sentiments and reiterated Türkiye’s strong and consistent support for Pakistan at regional and international platforms.

Both dignitaries emphasized the need to sustain the momentum of high-level engagements and further explore new avenues of bilateral cooperation, especially in defense and trade sector.
