Madrid, 20 August 2021- (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain Jose Manuel Albares and Antony Blinken, the Secretary of the US State Department had a telephonic conversation on the current Afghan situation.
They discussed the evacuation efforts in Kabul. Both the leaders exchanged their views on the best possible way to be undertaken to work together for human and women’s rights in Afghanistan.
The productive discussion coordinated efforts to safely evacuate people from Kabul to other regions of the world. Furthermore, they exchanged their thoughts on coordination with the allies and partners in Afghanistan and the safety and security of all Afghans.
