Islamabad, 23 August 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi talked to Ann Linde, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden. Shah Mahmood Qureshi told her that Islamabad was helping Swedish citizens and others evacuate Afghanistan. He added that peace and stability in Afghanistan were essential and global support for Afghans a must.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi further added that Pakistan harbored myriad Swedish companies and would continue welcoming more aligned with Islamabad’s geo-economic goals. Qureshi also invited his Sweden counterpart to Islamabad.
