“I am currently in Cuoguo Township措果乡 , where a minor road clearing operation has been conducted. In Cuoguo Township’s Jiding Village, we carried out a rescue operation at 12:40 PM for an individual who was trapped. At present, we are conducting large-scale surveys and assessments of the disaster site”.
“Our next priority is to visit each village, as the affected area is quite extensive. We aim to understand the disaster situation in each village and locate trapped individuals to provide preliminary reports for the larger rescue team”.

It is difficult to estimate how many residents are still awaiting rescue, as the villages are far apart and communication is poor in some areas.
Therefore, we plan to drive to these locations to assess the situation. There are approximately seven to eight villages left to check.
We are about to visit four of them. We will continue rescue operations and assess the property damage of affected residents. During subsequent work, we may face the risk of secondary collapses, as most of the houses here are made of earth and are no longer stable.
