Buenos Aires, 12 October 2021 (TDI): The ties between the Federation of International Polo (FIP) and the Pakistan Polo Association are strengthening.
This strengthening of relations between the two Polo Associations started back in July when the Ambassador of Pakistan to Argentina Muhammad Khalid Ejaz met with the President of the Argentine Polo Association Delfin Uranga. Since then, the two figures continued to build Polo relations between their home countries.
Earlier this month, Ambassador Ejaz also hosted an event at his residence in Argentina and invited the President of the International Polo Association Horacio Areco, Delfin Uranga, and other senior Argentinian officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the event, the Ambassador highlighted to the guests the history and importance of Polo to Pakistan.
Additionally, during an interview with an International Polo Magazine, Ambassador Ejaz highlighted a few contours of a future agreement between Pakistan and AAP. He remarked that the exchange of Polo teams between Pakistan and Argentina is high on the goals and the ceremonial matches between the two countries are also very likely.
