The Counsel General of Iran in Shanghai, Ramazan Parvaz, gave a speech on the opening ceremony of this event. He said that the friendly relation between China and Iran can be found in the ancient history of the Silk Road period. He thanked the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and 25-year Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Plan to heighten these bilateral relations.

The traditional Persian art displayed at the Art Center introduces the audience to Persian civilization and culture. Art influences society and it also allows people of opposite cultures to communicate with each other.
