Belgium, 31st August 2021 (TDI): The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen affirmed the EU has taken up its global responsibility seriously and since December 2020, they have exported about 700 million vaccine doses to 130 countries worldwide. Half of the vaccines are produced in Europe which is an exemplary action.
Around the European Union, about 70% of the adults have been fully vaccinated and for that, the President, Ursula von der Leyen, thanked the people for making this outstanding achievement possible.
