European Commission presented a plan for a digital future to transform Europe into digital Europe and to empower people with the help of technology.

Digital Technology played a crucial role in the COVID-19 Pandemic and it is better for a prosperous future of the EU.

According to the EU Commission, the aim is to set up a digital Europe by 2030 in which at least 80 per cent population of Europe will have an understanding of digitalization.

Thierry Breton, Commissioner for the Internal Market was of the view that the EU can’t stay dependent and it is the time to deliver.

He added that if we don’t move toward a digital future; we will remain vulnerable to the ups and downs of the world and miss out on economic growth and job creation.
