Ethiopian Embassy, ICCI to Organize Business Forum for Trade Expansion

Addis Ababa (TDI): The Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad and the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) have agreed to jointly organize a Business Forum on April 15 at the ICCI premises.

The forum aims to mobilize Pakistani traders and investors ahead of the upcoming Single Country Exhibition being hosted by Pakistan in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from May 15 to May 17.

The decision was made during a meeting between Jemal Beker Abdula, Special Envoy and Ambassador Extraordinary of Ethiopia, and Nasir M. Qureshi, President of ICCI, held at the Islamabad Chamber.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on enhancing trade and investment ties between Ethiopia and Pakistan and discussed key modalities to ensure the success of the upcoming business forum.

The forum is expected to bring together business leaders, investors, and trade experts to explore opportunities for collaboration in diverse sectors.

Ambassador Jemal Beker congratulated Nasir Qureshi on assuming office as the President of ICCI and praised the strong institutional bond between the Ethiopian Embassy and ICCI.
