Manchester (TDI): The 100th goal of Manchester City’s team was scored by Erling Haaland, who joined football icon Cristiano Ronaldo in this achievement during the team’s 2-2 tie with Arsenal.
The Portuguese player, 39, and the 24-year-old Norwegian football player are now the fastest players to reach 100 goals for a European club after their quick goal in the ninth minute of play at Etihad Stadium.
In 2011, Ronaldo—a five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or—broke the record while he was a Real Madrid player. In the meantime, on their 105th game for respective teams, both players achieved the accomplishment.

Kevin De Bruyne became the 18th player from Manchester City to score 100 goals in 2024 after making 372 appearances for the team.
With nine goals through four games of the Premier League season, including two hat tricks, Erling Haaland has already broken the record for most goals scored in a season in European football thanks to his goal-scoring prowess.

With 103 game appearances and 99 goals, he had a chance to surpass Ronaldo’s record going into the Champions League match at home against Inter Milan thanks to his blistering start.
But despite having a few opportunities in the first half, the goalless draw left him dissatisfied.
