Astana, (TDI): European ambassadors were treated to the breathtaking landscapes of Bayanaul National Park in Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar region, during a tour organized by the Kazakh Tourism National Company.
The diplomatic delegation, which included ambassadors from Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Romania explored several of the park’s iconic sites.
The diplomats of Serbia, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia, and the European Union were also part of the tour.
The walking tour led them through the Konyr Auliye gorge and the Kempirtas (Old Lady Stone) rock formations, while they also visited the picturesque lakes of Jasybai, Sabyndykol, and Toraigyr.
Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Roman Vassilenko led the delegation.

Speaking about the tour, the ambassadors expressed admiration for Bayanaul’s unspoiled natural beauty and noted its potential to become a major destination for international tourists.
The visit, part of a broader initiative to highlight Kazakhstan’s natural attractions, showcased Bayanaul’s unique blend of cultural and environmental treasures.
Bayanaul in Top Ten
Bayanaul was recently ranked among the top 10 tourist destinations in Kazakhstan due to its pristine landscapes and accessibility.
This is not the first such initiative by Kazakh Tourism to promote the country’s rich ecological sites.

Last year, ambassadors visited the Korgalzhyn Nature Reserve in the Akmola region.
With the growing interest in eco-tourism, efforts are underway to position Kazakhstan as a key player in sustainable travel, drawing attention to its natural reserves and parks.
