Ottawa, 11 September 2024 (TDI): Pakistan’s Acting High Commissioner to Canada, Shah Faisal Kakar, has emphasized that the most genuine way to show respect and love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is through daily actions aligned with his teachings, rather than solely through ceremonies or expressions of devotion.
Addressing a ceremony commemorating Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH) organized by Salam Pakistan Canada at the SNMC mosque, Kakar urged attendees to embody the Prophet’s values of compassion, justice, and humility in their lives.
“As we celebrate this significant occasion, it is crucial to reflect on how we can best honor the memory of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH),” Kakar said.
The teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) serve as a timeless guide, and our greatest tribute is to practice these values daily, the envoy added.

By doing so, we uphold his legacy, positively impact our communities, and foster a spirit of unity and understanding, he said.
The event, drew a diverse audience, including members of the Pakistani community and religious leaders, who gathered to reflect on the enduring legacy and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
