Pakistani Envoy Explores Education Ties with UAE

Dubai (TDI): Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, visited Synergy University of Dubai on Monday to explore opportunities for educational collaboration that could benefit Pakistani students.

During his visit, Ambassador Tirmizi received a comprehensive presentation on the university’s academic offerings and development plans from Uzma Sindhu, Vice-Director of Education Affairs, and Philippe Mobio, Partnership Specialist.

Engaging with faculty, management, and a diverse student body, the ambassador toured classrooms and interacted with students from various nationalities, including Pakistani students currently enrolled at the university.

He listened to their experiences and encouraged them to excel in their studies.

Highlighting Pakistan’s rich culture and potential for educational partnerships, Ambassador Tirmizi invited the university’s international faculty and students to visit Pakistan.

The discussions also led to an agreement to consider a formal partnership in the future, aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for Pakistani students.

“We are keen to provide our students with access to quality education and support institutions like Synergy University in exploring opportunities within Pakistan,” the ambassador stated.

Present at the meeting were Prof. Zaffar Mueen Nasar from the Department of Economics, Cheryll Flavier, Head of Agents and Schools Outreach, Faisal Ghani, Career and Project Development Manager, and Waqar Ahmad, Operations Manager.
