Egyptian Foreign Minister visits UAE

Dubai, 15 November (TDI): Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri visits UAE. Egyptian Minister met with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed. Both ministers discussed features of strong relations between two Muslim countries. Additionally, they also discussed major issues in the Arab World. Both ministers talked over ways to continue working to advance common interests in dealing with challenges in the regional and international aspects.

12th Sir Bani Yas Forum

On the visit, Egypt’s Foreign Minister attended the 12th Sir Bani Yas Forum. Foreign Ministery of UAE organizes the forum. Foreign Minister of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, FM of Iraq, Fouad Hussein, also participated in the event. They discussed the ways to boost coordination and consultation under the tripartite cooperation mechanism. They discussed the joint projects of the three brotherly Arab countries. Furthermore, Sir Bani Yas Forum brings together decision-makers from the Middle East and the Arab region. Participants discussed some of the most important issues of the Middle East.

Egypt Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020

During the visit, the Egyptian Minister also visited the Egyptian Pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020. Minister Shukri commended the prominent Egyptian Pavilion at the exhibition. Pavilion gives a view on the ancient civilization and history of Egypt. Moreover, it provides a view on the Egyptian state and its struggle for a better future. Likewise, the Egyptian Pavilion presents tourist attractions and investment opportunities in Egypt.
