Islamabad, 15 August 2024 (TDI): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet on Thursday decided to continue the Prime Minister’s Relief Package for FY 2024-25.
The Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb presided over a meeting of the ECC at Finance Division, according to a press release.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for Industries & Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, Minister for Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan, Deputy Chairman Planning Commission, Federal Secretaries, and other key officials of the relevant ministries.
The Cabinet Committee approved the proposal presented by the Industries and Production Division to continue the Prime Minister’s Relief Package for FY 2024-25 through Utility Stores Corporation with revised price and subsidy, the press release noted.
Moreover, the ECC also approved the request of Ministry of Industries and Production to declare Warehousing and Logistic Sector as an industry.
