Doha, 14 September 2021 (TDI): Sigrid Kaag, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Netherlands contacted Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar through phone call.
Both sides reviewed the bilateral ties between both countries.
They also conversed on the hardships and hurdles posed in the way of mutual cooperation.
Both extended means and ways to enhance cordial relations between both the countries to bring peace and stability in the region.
They also talked about the various regional and international issues and conversed on issues of common interest. The ministers addressed the contemporary situation of Afghanistan.
Both foreign ministers discussed the various political and security progresses going on in the country of Afghanistan.
