Warsaw (TDI): Chairperson and CEO of Diplomatic Insight Group (DIG), Dr. Farhat Asif and Muhammad Asif Noor, had an insightful meeting with the Director of the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM), Dr. Jarosław Ćwiek-Karpowicz and the Head of the South Asia Program, Patryk Kugiel.
The conversation focused on the evolving geopolitical landscape of South Asia, Pakistan’s strategic outlook, non-proliferation challenges, and the broader Indo-Pacific dynamics.
The Heads of DIG also had the opportunity to engage with senior researchers and analysts from PISM working on global security, European foreign policy, and Asia-Pacific affairs.
The closed-door session allowed for a rich exchange of views on regional tensions, global power competition, and pathways for greater cooperation between Europe and South Asia.
PISM warmly welcomed the DIG Heads and the team heard with intellectual openness the perspectives coming directly from the Global South. Both sides looked forward to having regular exchanges and sustained collaboration between their respective institutions.
