Several diplomats shared messages of goodwill, highlighting the significance of interfaith harmony and mutual respect in fostering a cohesive society.
United Nations Resident Coordinator in Pakistan Muhammad Yahya extended his warm wishes to the Christian community in Pakistan.
“As we reach the last days of December, we wish everyone a happy Christmas, Jinnah Day and Happy New Year,” Yahya said.

Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Leslie Scanlon, extended her heartfelt Christmas wishes, stating “We have gathered to celebrate the festival of hope, joy and solidarity. I extend my heartfelt wishes to you all on the occasion of Christmas, Quaid-e-Azam Day, and the New Year.”

Pakistan Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) organized a special event on Friday to celebrate Christmas with the Pakistani Christian expatriate community.
The ceremony, arranged at the embassy premises, was participated by a large number of Pakistani Christian families living in the UAE, alongside embassy officials.
In his address to the gathering, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi said that the message of love and peace brought by Jesus Christ holds even greater worth in today’s world.
He spoke about the common values across religions, underlining the significance of interfaith harmony and peaceful coexistence.
