Denmark will not Recognize the Taliban Government,says FM of Denmark

 Copenhagen,4 September 2021- (TDI) Foreign Minister of Denmark, Jeppe Kofod announced in an interview with Danish TV on Friday that Denmark will not recognize the government of the Taliban in Afghanistan.

Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod told in the interview that the leaders of the state are fully concerned to maintain the progress that has been made by the efforts of two decades in Afghanistan. According to the FM Kofod, the highest priority of the government is to ensure that everyone on the list of evacuees can leave Afghanistan in the good condition. By this statement, Denmark has now added to the list of the states who have denied the Taliban government in Afghanistan, such as the US, UK, and Canada. The Taliban government is looking for global recognition to make the diplomatic relations.
