Islamabad (TDI): The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has announced the opening of applications for its prestigious EPOS (Development-Related Postgraduate Courses) Scholarship Programme, aimed at professionals from developing countries seeking to pursue selected Master’s and PhD programmes in Germany.
The scholarship is part of DAAD’s broader initiative to support academically trained professionals from developing regions by equipping them with skills necessary for leadership roles in government, administration, non-governmental organisations, and the corporate sector.
According to DAAD, the scholarships are available across a wide range of academic disciplines including economics, business administration, political economics, development cooperation, engineering and related sciences, regional and urban planning, agricultural and forestry sciences, natural and environmental sciences, medicine and public health, social sciences, education, law, and media studies.

Applications are welcomed from candidates holding a first academic degree, equivalent to 16 years of education for Master’s programmes and 18 years for PhDs, with at least two years of relevant professional experience. Candidates are preferably expected to have completed their last degree no more than six years ago.
