London (TDI): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met the UK’s Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Middle East, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, Rt. Hon. Hamish Falconer, at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) on Monday.
The two sides reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their resolve to strengthen cooperation in political, economic, climate, and people-to-people domains.
They also exchanged views on key regional and global developments.
Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to economic reforms and shared Islamabad’s perspective on South Asian peace and stability, emphasizing the need for a just and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in line with relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

Both leaders welcomed the positive trajectory of Pakistan–UK relations and stressed the importance of maintaining regular high-level contacts to consolidate momentum and explore new avenues of strategic partnership.
The meeting reflected the growing importance of Pakistan–UK cooperation in addressing shared challenges, including climate change, trade diversification, and regional security.
Both sides recognized that closer collaboration would not only benefit their peoples but also contribute to broader regional stability.
