Islamabad, 30 September 2021 (TDI): Jeppe Kofod, Foreign Minister of Denmark has arrived in Pakistan on his two-days official visit. Danish Foreign Minister is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Foreign Minister Pakistan.
On his visit in Pakistan, Danish Foreign Minister will discuss latest developments in Afghanistan with several Pakistani officials. Foreign Minister of Denmark will also discuss Pakistan and Denmark foreign and diplomatic relations.
This official visit will contribute to enhancing cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations between Denmark and Pakistan. Both states established diplomatic relations in initial years of independence of Pakistan. The political, cultural, and economic relations between these two countries are longstanding and are based on diplomatic terms.
Denmark and Pakistan share strong international cooperation, along with collaboration in renewable energy and technology. Both states looking forward to enhance mutual respect, understanding and people-to-people connections.
