Havana, 21 August 2021 (TDI): Despite the uncontrolled global pandemic and increasing domestic need for medical equipment, China sent medical aid to Cuba, on Saturday. The freight contains donations of oxygen concentrators, which will help Cuba in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cuba has received two batches of donations from Beijing in less than a month; the latest batch which Cuba received today includes oxygen-making equipment and another batch of 30-lung ventilators was received by Cuba on 31 July 2021. Havana’s Embassay in China called this act a “reflection of the friendship and brotherhood” between the people of two nations.
