Beijing: 29 June 2021 (TDI) – The Communist Party of China (CPC) has received more than 1,300 congratulatory letters on its centennial.
The vice minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, Guo Yezhou stated at a conference on Monday that on the occasion of the 100th anniversary, the party has received more than 1300 congratulatory letters from foreign political parties and state leaders.
These letters, he shared, have expressed the expectations for the CPC, including hopes that it plays a leading role in international society in dealing with the many challenges faced by the world. The senders have also expressed interest in learning about the governance of a country as well as a political party from the Chinese president.
Among the senders are 150 state leaders and heads of governments, and 200 leaders of political parties.
Guo also highlighted that the CPC’s anniversary is of great significance to not only China but also the international community. He said the letters as well as the interactions with the leadership in other states show how much attention the world pays to CPC.
