San José, 04 September 2021 (TDI): Costa Rica, a country in Central America expressed solidarity with the USA following the floods caused by Hurrican Ida
In an official letter to the US, Costa Rica expressed condolences for the victims of floods that hit the city of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
The letter also addressed the citizens of Costa Rica in the USA informing them that so far no Costa Rican has been reported affected. Additionally, the letter gave the emergency numbers and emailed for its citizens in the USA in case of assistance or consultancy is required.
