Cook Highlights Apple’s Strong Ties with China

Beijing (TDI): Apple CEO Tim Cook visited the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo on Monday, his third business trip to China this year.

During the visit, Cook emphasized the critical role of Chinese partners in Apple’s operations, stating that the company “could not do what it does without them.”

Apple has around 200 major suppliers, with more than 80% producing products in China.

Cook, speaking at the expo for the first time, expressed pride in Apple’s presence at the event alongside its partners.

He highlighted the company’s continued commitment to growing investments in China and supporting the development of the supply chain, following meetings last month with China’s Minister of Industry and Information Technology.
