Islamabad, 25 November 2021 (TDI): As a public diplomacy initiative, Diplomatic Insight Group organized the 4th Global Ambassadors Award Ceremony to acknowledge the services of Ambassadors and diplomats, heads of international organizations, businessmen for the promotion of people to people contact, business, trade, and constructive bilateral relations with their respective states and missions.
As a result of outstanding contribution towards building Pakistan’s strong partnership with Moldova, on behalf of the people of Pakistan, Diplomatic Insight Group conferred an award to the Consul General of Moldova, Mr. Mian Mahmood-ul-Hassan. This was a humble tribute to his hard work and commitment to promote and build strong relations between Moldova and Pakistan.
Honorable Consul General of Moldova, Mr. Mian Mahmood-ul-Hassan, an expert in International Trade & Commerce with an incline towards peace and development. Graduating from Hailey College of Commerce in Lahore and holding a diploma in Organizational Behavior from the London School of Economics, Mr. Mahmood-ul-Hassan has more than 30 years of experience in the International Trade & Commerce arena.
Along with it, he has served as the President of Pak-Saudi JCCI from 2012-2013. Afterward, he was appointed 1st Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Moldova to Pakistan in September 2013.
Being in Pakistan, he has worked to enhance business and trade cooperation between the two brotherly nations of Moldova and Pakistan. It was his efforts and enthusiasm that he successfully organized the first formal Business & Cultural exchanges between the two countries through Moldova-Pakistan Business Forum in Chisinau in 2016.
Since his appointment as Consul General of the Republic of Moldova to Pakistan, the bilateral trade between Moldova and Pakistan has doubled. Lastly, it is worth saying that formal communications between the two heads of state are being shared regularly every year since 2013.
