Communication Minister Reviews High-Tech Highway Solutions

Islamabad (TDI): A high-level meeting of the National Highway Authority was set up by Federal Minister of Communications, Board of Investment & Privatization Abdul Aleem Khan, who mandated the requirement for greater improvement plans in a short span of time.

Chairman NHA informed Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan that the number of M-Tag users has shot up  over 92% as a result of his directives, and that during the past six months, the NHA’s revenue has also greatly increased.

While expressing happiness with the improvement, the federal minister requested that the National Highway Authority (NHA) implement a high-tech system and put the entire organization online as soon as feasible.

In this regard, he noted, any shortcomings in the application of the greatest tracking system on all highways should be guaranteed in any incident.

Abdul Aleem Khan, the federal minister of communications, went on to say that every car should get a notification indicating whether or not it has paid with an M-Tag.

There should be constant surveillance of the quantity of vehicles on the motorways and GT Roads.

Abdul Aleem Khan gave NHA the order to construct cutting-edge monitoring rooms following the Safe City model and to set up its dashboards so that the data is updated daily.

The federal minister for communications, further gave NHA instructions to combine its operations with Motorway Police by utilizing the newest cameras and cutting-edge technology to handle any atypical circumstance.

The National Highway Authority’s revenue growth is a good development that would improve the financial stability of the organization, according to Federal Minister.

In the past six months, he claimed, it has been demonstrated that good policies and appropriate enforcement may lead to changes.

According to him, people who donate cash instead of M-Tag on highways ought to be discouraged, and vehicles with M-Tags but no cash should also receive a warning about potential fines.

Abdul Aleem Khan gave the National Highway Authority the order to boost internal resources without waiting for government funding clearance.

He suggested that our GT Roads and Motorways be made cleaner, safer, and more contemporary.

It is therefore necessary to have consistent laws and regulations with a single policy for each and every customer.

The National Highway Authority officials received praise and congratulations from Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan for their notable progress over the past six months, including raising revenue and implementing other constructive initiatives.

He declared that the Prime Minister will give certificates of appreciation to these personnel who have helped NHA development.

President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party and Federal Minister for Privatization, and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, meantime, honored the martyrdom of six valiant “Jawans” and applauded the security forces for eliminating 12 terrorists in North and South Waziristan.

As the nation honors the veterans who put an end to the “khawarij” sedition, he declared that the country is resolved to eliminate terrorism in its entirety in the near future.

According to him, all Pakistanis support and stand by his Army.

The hope of bringing peace to the beloved nation will soon come true, insha’Allah, according to Abdul Aleem Khan, who also expressed determination. The Pakistan Army is the nation’s true defender.
