Guangzhou (TDI): A two-day joint naval patrol between the Chinese and Vietnamese navies in the Beibu Gulf concluded on Wednesday, underscoring the growing cooperation between the two nations’ militaries.
The patrol, which involved four vessels, covered over 200 nautical miles.
During the operation, the fleets worked closely to enhance information exchange and data sharing.
Both navies notified each other of hydrometeorological conditions, as well as details about their courses and speeds.

The patrol also featured rotations in the command of the joint formation to improve coordination and cooperation between the two forces.
This joint patrol, the 37th such operation between the Chinese and Vietnamese navies, is considered an important step in strengthening the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
