Paris (TDI): The 2024 Paris Motor Show concluded on Sunday, showcasing a vibrant array of electric vehicles (EVs) from manufacturers across China, Europe, and the United States, as competition in the global EV market heats up.

Automakers exhibited their latest models side by side, offering visitors a unique opportunity to compare technologies, pricing, and quality directly.

Serge Gachot, director of the Paris Motor Show, noted, “People are ready to combat climate change and embrace EVs, but price remains a critical concern.”

He highlighted how Chinese manufacturers are leveraging innovation to reduce costs, positioning themselves as formidable global competitors.

Despite ongoing trade tensions and fears of tariffs on imported Chinese EVs, the demand for affordable, high-quality vehicles has outstripped protectionist sentiments.

European attendees showed a keen interest in test-driving Chinese models, with many praising their advanced features and exceptional value for money.
