Astana (TDI): Kazakhstan’s Railway Giant KTZ had a working meeting with the officials of the local government of Mangistau Region and the Chinese company Guoyou Wuchan Group.
The focus of the meeting was on expanding international partnership in logistics and developing key transport infrastructure in the Caspian Sea.
KTZ focused on attracting strategic investors to strengthen the country’s transit potential and create a sustainable logistics system in the region.
The parties discussed the development of Transport and Logistics infrastructure in the Mangystau Region with the participation of a potential investor.
Representatives of Guoyou Wuchan Group were presented with information on the current capacities and development prospects of both the railway and maritime infrastructure of the region.
In particular, the sites open for investment were presented, and possible partnership formats were outlined.
KTZ and the local government of Mangistau expressed their readiness to provide full support to the investor at all stages of the implementation of joint projects.
