Karachi, 5 September 2024 (TDI): The Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Mr Jiang Zaidong Thursday visited the office of All Pakistan Newspaper Society (APNS) in Karachi, state-run *APP* reported.
He was accompanied by the Acting Consul General of China at Karachi Mr Zhang Hao and other notables.

On the occasion, Mr Zaidong said the role of media was significant for deeper Pakistan–China cooperation in all spheres. He assured that the Chinese government would create more opportunities for Pakistani journalists to visit China.
The Chinese ambassador was warmly welcomed by former president APNS Hameed Haroon, Finance Secretary APNS Shahab Zuberi, and members APNS Kazi Asad Abid and Bilal Farooqi.
