Islamabad, 1 July 2021 (TDI): Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Nong Rong held a meeting with the Chairman of Capital Development Authority Islamabad (CDA), Amer Ali Ahmed. The meeting took place at the CDA headquarters in Islamabad.
The CDA Chairman welcomed the Chinese Ambassador. The two discussed the mechanism and working of CDA. Amer Ali Ahmed also acknowledged and appreciated the persistent assistance provided by China for the residents of Islamabad.
Ambassador Nong Rong expressed his willingness to enhance the cooperation between China-based companies and CDA, in a tweet. He also mentioned that such cooperation is an opportunity to exchange experiences between both nations for mutual benefit. Furthermore, he wished for a much more beautiful Islamabad and an everlasting relation between China and Pakistan.
In response to Nong Rong’s tweet, CDA Islamabad also tweeted and thanked the Ambassador for his generous remarks. They further reiterated that the Chairman of CDA, as well as the entire team of CDA, are eager to contribute to future collaboration with China, as per the tweet.
China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic partners. The two collaborate in a multitude of fields ranging from economic, trade, technical, research, literary, educational to defense and strategic spheres. The flagship China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project is the truest representation of the strong and friendly ties between the regional partners.
The two allies regularly collaborate in economic ventures. Such ventures include infrastructure development, exchange of expertise, along various training programs. Aside from that, there have been regular people-to-people exchanges between China and Pakistan as well.
In the cultural realm, the two countries regularly collaborate jointly. The two embassies play an important role in this regard. Events, where traditional and cultural representations are displayed, are also organized.
Furthermore, the Embassy of China in Pakistan frequently engages the youth in different projects. As a result, the relationship between China and Pakistan is growing stronger.
