Beijing, 20 August 2021 (TDI): On Monday, Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng addressed online in a farewell reception of the ambassador of Mexico to China, Jose Luis Bernal. In his video speech, Xie said that in past four years China-Mexico relations have witnessed a leapfrog growth with pragmatic cooperation in various fields and friendly relations between the two states.
Xie reviewed the development process of relations between China and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) Forum and credited Mexico for nonstop efforts it had put in the cooperation. He also emphasized the willingness of China to cooperate with Mexico and take the relations to new heights before the 50th anniversary of Sino-Mexican diplomatic relations, which is next year.
In the last, Vice Foreign Minister wished success to the Mexican ambassador and thanked him for playing part in the China-Mexico friendship, and wished him success in his next position. The Ambassador of Mexico also expressed Mexico’s desire to continue the partnership with China and thanked Xie Feng for the video.
