Beijing (TDI): Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed new ambassadors in accordance with a decision of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, China’s top legislature.
Deng Li has been appointed ambassador to France and Monaco, succeeding Lu Shaye.
Xiao Junzheng has been appointed envoy to Israel, replacing Cai Run.
Zhang Wei has been named the new ambassador to Benin, succeeding Peng Jingtao.

Dai Bing has been named the new ambassador to the Republic of Korea, succeeding Xing Haiming.
Jiang Xuebin has been named the new ambassador to Türkiye, succeeding Liu Shaobin.

Dong Guangli has been named the new ambassador to Algeria, succeeding Li Jian.
Tang Zhongdong has been appointed envoy to Mauritania, succeeding Li Baijun.
